I would like to start by thanking you for stopping by my website. I began my healthcare career shortly after graduating from high school. During this time, I worked in family practice, pharmaceutical research, detox and rehabilitation centers, and weight loss clinics. It wasn’t until I became pregnant with my second child that I became interested in the science of nutrition. While I was 4 months pregnant with my daughter, I suffered from anxiety and panic attacks. After I was diagnosed, I decided to take matters into my own hands and chose to do my own research on natural alternative methods for treating anxiety. This is where my transformation began. Along with a few lifestyle changes and nutrition modifications, I was able to reduce the symptoms of anxiety and panic attacks. I started this journey and lifestyle with the hopes of feeling healthy and being mindful of my body and state of mind.
I was fortunate enough to continue my education in nutrition and in health coaching while working with clients at various weight loss clinics. My intention while working at the weight loss clinic was to guide our clients on lifestyle modifications to achieve their health and wellness goals. While I enjoyed working in the medical field as a licensed vocational nurse, I have honored my passion for nutrition and health coaching. I believe it is vital to have the proper support and guidance while creating new habits and releasing old self-sabotaging patterns. Through trial and error in my own health journey and while working with hundreds of clients in the medical field, I learned nutrition and exercise are only a couple of pieces to the puzzle. My hope is to guide you through your own transformation. Together, we will uncover your hidden beliefs about your body image, what health means to you while also focusing on mental wellness. We will work on a holistic approach to weight loss. I use nutrition, mental health support, meditation, and body movement in my approach.
